Global Operations Training

VMC’s ITIS group leads a Global Training organization capable of designing, developing, and implementing training materials, content and delivery methods to meet the needs of our projects. The global training organization includes trainers, technical writers, training development specialists and experienced training management.

The ITIS Global Training team works closely with the operations teams to determine the needs of each project and site so that the necessary tools, resources and training are in place. Training is developed both proactively to improve efficiencies and process adherence as well as in a reactive capacity upon request. Trainers are leveraged across the group to help meet these needs and all training is extensively reviewed to ensure accuracy. By connecting and leveraging training resources across the ITIS group, the global training group delivers solid advantages in the quality and timeliness of training.

ITIS Training Services include:

• Train-the-Trainer and skill development for trainers across the ITIS organization
• Training tool research and development, in order to make recommendations and provide the equipment and software necessary to maximize training efficiency
• Training content development based on the needs of each project and partnership
• Content designed and adapted to meet the needs of the project including New Hire, Refresher, New Product, and Quick-Learn (Brown-Bag) training
• Training delivery and assessment strategy development
• Developing appropriate training plans and guidelines for every VMC resource
• Assistance and support for certification requirements and goals
• Instructor-led face to face, and remote training capabilities
• Online content delivery and assessment tools allowing for self-paced and e-learning delivery
