This position will focus on international accounting for foreign divisions, assist with month end financial close processes for all divisions, and assistance with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The international accounting will consist of preparing and maintaining financial records for smaller foreign divisions in four different countries, as well as any tax or governmental reporting requirements. The month end close process will consist of preparation of month end journal entries, account reconciliations, and developing process improvements to speed up the month end process. And the last area will be to assist with the monitoring of preparation for internal and external audits related to Sarbanes-Oxley as well assist in maintaining the related narratives. Other duties will be assigned based on needs and the candidate’s abilities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Preparation and maintenance of international accounting financial records and tax reporting.
  • Monitor preparation of Sarbanes-Oxley internal and external audits.
  • Preparation of month end journal entries.
  • Preparation of month end account reconciliations.
  • Support preparation of month end financial management reporting package.
  • Create ad hoc financial queries and reports as requested.
  • Documentation of accounting processes.
  • Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley narratives and department policies.
  • Others as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of accounting experience in a fast growth environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance.
  • CPA or CMA required.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to follow a problem through to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong Excel skills a must, well versed with Microsoft Office Suite, and PeopleSoft experience a plus.
  • Extensive experience with month end close procedures.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control processes.
  • Audit experience a plus.
  • International accounting experience.
